Hotel Villa Betania

Tucked away in a pretty park in the Florentine hills, just 10 minutes from the lovely Boboli gardens, this attractive hotel offers a great spot to watch the sunset.

Totally renovated in September 2006, the hotel blends classic and modern features: original architecture details such as stone surfaces and decorative arches are combined with modern amenities including free high-speed wireless internet access. In season you can also visit the hotel's botanic garden, winner of several international awards.

With the A1 motorway not far away, access is easy. The free on-site parking also means that you can enjoy the views of Florence during a leisurely 25-minute walk down the hill to the historic centre. However, if you would prefer to take public transport, a bus stops just a few metres from the hotel and will drop you in the centre in less than 10 minutes.

During the recent renovation, careful attention was placed on maintaining the important historic detail of the villa, including the typical Florentine charcoal hand-crafted walls. The building was also modernised, with state-of-the-art safety and fire-alert technology added.
